Accessibility statement
Accessibility is a core part of how we work, not an afterthought. Many of the families we support include children with Special Educational Needs, so we have built this website to be calm, clear and usable for everyone.
Our commitment
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. In practice that means:
- Semantic structure, correct heading order, and landmark regions.
- Colour contrast that meets AA for text and interface components.
- Full keyboard navigation with a visible focus indicator on every interactive element.
- Text that can be resized to 200% without breaking the layout.
- Meaningful alt text on images, with decorative images hidden from assistive technology.
- Respect for the "reduce motion" setting, so animation is subtle and optional.
- Accessible fonts (Lexend and Atkinson Hyperlegible) chosen for readability.
