About us
Meet Deena Osman
Patient, expert support built on real experience across primary and secondary education, and a genuine belief that every child can achieve their potential.
I graduated from Middlesex University in 2024 with a BSc in Psychology, and I have built up hands-on experience supporting children across both primary and secondary education.
I have worked at Chalgrove Primary School, Childs Hill School, Claremont School, and Holmewood School and Sixth Form College, supporting children with a wide range of abilities, learning styles, and educational needs. Across these settings I have worked closely with pupils who learn in very different ways, which has taught me how to meet each child where they are rather than expecting them to fit a single approach.
Experience with Special Educational Needs
A central part of my work has been supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This includes children with:
- Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
- ADHD
- Speech and language difficulties
- Social communication needs
- Sensory processing differences
- Emotional regulation challenges
- Specific learning difficulties
Through this experience I have developed a strong understanding of how to adapt teaching and support strategies so that each child can access their learning and succeed. Small adjustments, made consistently and with care, often make the biggest difference.
My approach
I provide tutoring in English and Maths, and I believe every child can achieve their potential when given the right support. My approach is patient, encouraging, and tailored to each child's individual needs.
I focus not only on academic progress but also on the things that make that progress last: confidence, independence, emotional regulation, and a positive attitude towards learning. When a child feels capable and understood, the academic results tend to follow.
Training and qualifications
Alongside my Psychology degree and practical experience, I have completed training in:
- Safeguarding, including updated safeguarding practices
- Prevent Duty and British Values
- First Aid
- Sensory Processing
- Children's Mental Health
- Staff Mental Health
- Health and Safety
These qualifications strengthen my ability to support children safely, effectively, and in a way that respects each child's needs.
My goal
My goal is to help children enjoy learning, overcome challenges, and develop the skills and confidence they need both inside and outside the classroom. I am passionate about creating a supportive environment where every child feels understood, valued, and empowered to reach their full potential.
